Happy New Year, y'all! Sorry I've been mad late in telling you guys that. So rude. I'm not one to make new years resolutions. But this year I wanna take a page from the late and great, Lee Dorsey. This year "Everything I do gonna be funky (from now on)." I made the above print after a long ass day of listening only to Lee Dorsey's classic NOLA R&B sound. Enjoy!
Scoobtoobins is a Detroit based illustrator who makes gorgeous designs. Their work consists of hands and feet with intricate tattoo-like artwork on them.
I can't get enough of Adriana Bellet's amazing work. Her illustrations to her paintings make me so happy. She has such an amazing grasp and patterns, prints, colors and geometry.
I've been loving Jacqueline Maldonado's floral prints for awhile now. They are both beautiful and calming. She creates digital prints from hand painted watercolor flowers.
I've been a huge fan of Kris Tate's work for years now. In fact her gorgeous print, "Girls" hangs in my apartment, and gets compliments often. Tate was born in Guatemala where she became inspired by animals and her native culture. She studied art and graphic design in Guatemala. She currently lives in the U.K. working on her art. She has created work for Urban Outfitters, Ohh Deer, and many other amazing companies.

The art print has one of my favorite inspirational quotes on it from a Mexican proverb: "They Thought They Would Bury Us, But They Didn't Realize We Were Seeds"
