Today I am inspired by the amazing work of Caitlin McGauley. I love her use of bright and bold colors and patterns in her art.
I've been reading Anna Dorfman's fantastic home decor blog, DoorSixteen for years now. I love her artwork too. I am a huge fan of The Smiths just like Dorfman. So of course I'd get a big kick out of her amazing Smiths inspired designs!
I can't get enough of Adriana Bellet's amazing work. Her illustrations to her paintings make me so happy. She has such an amazing grasp and patterns, prints, colors and geometry.
I've been loving Jacqueline Maldonado's floral prints for awhile now. They are both beautiful and calming. She creates digital prints from hand painted watercolor flowers.
I've been a huge fan of Kris Tate's work for years now. In fact her gorgeous print, "Girls" hangs in my apartment, and gets compliments often. Tate was born in Guatemala where she became inspired by animals and her native culture. She studied art and graphic design in Guatemala. She currently lives in the U.K. working on her art. She has created work for Urban Outfitters, Ohh Deer, and many other amazing companies.
I love the work of fellow Los Angeles based artist, Emily Rickard! Her paintings and mixed media works are brightly colored affairs. Her art is so warm and inviting.
I am currently obsessed with work of Lucy Simpson. She is an amazing textile and freelance print designer and artist. She is currently based in Edinburgh. Her work is vibrant, and has a distinct life to it. I love the geometry and pops of color in her textiles.
I wanted to share the lovely work of UK based artist, Tracie Andrews! She works in various mediums such as oil paints and illustrator and feels at home at both. You can check out her excellent work here.
